CitiStroller was developed by Papa Products, LLC, designers of innovative products to simplify the lives of modern parents.
Founded by a husband and wife team in Boston, MA, CitiStroller was born out of their own experience and frustration navigating the streets of Boston with their new baby. Their goal was to create a tool that can provide accessibility and ease for parents, as well as expose them to a whole lot more fun in cities where they live or travel to. Papa Products developed CitiRoller simultaneously, a navigation tool for individuals with disabilities to locate accessible locations around the U.S. and around the world.
CitiStroller is a web and smartphone guide for parents and caregivers navigating cities with kids in tow, and debuted in the Apple iTunes Store in fall 2010. CitiStroller utilizes cutting edge app technology, expert and user-generated listings and a modern, clean interface to make finding essential locations for kids and their grown-ups a breeze.
Unlike any other tool of its kind on the market, CitiStroller offers national baby & kids gear retailer listings; diaper change locations with an ability to indicate whether the changing table is in the women’s, men’s or family restrooms; multi-city stroller friendly public transportation; great nursing spots; and stroller repair listings for those times when parents are caught with a flat or a wobbly wheel! In addition, CitiStroller offers listings for parks, playgrounds, indoor play spaces & activities, and stroller-friendly restaurants & café’s.
CitiStroller is fully scalable for national and international use. At beta launch, data will be available for Boston, with preview data for Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Chicago and New York City. The CitiStroller team will immediately be adding to the database of locations for these and other cities. Locations will be available to users without having to update software.
A centerpiece of CitiStroller’s content are expert curated listings, sponsored by local authorities on all things baby and parenting. Our debut partnership is with Union Park Press, publishers of Boston Baby, by Kim Foley MacKinnon.
